Hanson’s Wetland Restoration

We worked with a private landowner and the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service to restore 3 acres of drained and degraded wetlands.

Invasive species such as reed canary and hybrid cattail were removed, built up sediment was scraped out, the native seed bed was exposed as well as seeded with native wetland species, and more open water was created for waterfowl habitat.
